Cycle in Style

circa 1930s As avid fans of both vintage [duh] and cycling [both urban and otherwise], it only seemed appropriate to share some inspiration throughout the centuries as the season turns from winter to spring and cyclists everywhere are rejoicing in the fantastic weather [hang in there, New York-- it's right around the corner!].  And with London’s Tweed Run only a few weeks away [April 9th] and an imminent Beret et Baguette ride via the Surplace cycling crew in Paris in the coming months, it’s time to jump-start outfit inspiration for Europe-bound cyclists. If eccentric spring cycling jaunts throughout Europe aren’t on the agenda, there’s always…eccentric fall cycling jaunts throughout Europe, specifically Italy’s L’Eroica ride in October, a glorious exercise in vintage cycling jerseys and pre-1987 era road bikes throughout the winding roads of Tuscany’s Chianti region.
