Since they first met 13 years ago, Steve J and Yoni P always dreamed of being a successful design team. Today, after years of studying fashion design in London and showing at London Fashion Week, they have grown to be arguably the most successful design duo to emerge from Korea.
Their first shop, Two Heads are Better Than One, opened in the increasingly trendy Itewon neighborhood in April, bringing playful, high-end casual wear to Seoul. Colorful portraits painted by Steve J enliven the two floors of the shop, and selected outfits are displayed in 3-D wooden frames throughout the space. Above the bi-level shop is Steve and Yoni’s design studio, where the creative wizards work their magic in creating the upcoming collections. -Rafael Flores
