The runway was groovy with psychedelic prints and plenty of denim, but this was not a nostalgic collection, rather it was thoroughly up to date and contemporary.

The collection ran the gamut from baggy, drop-crotch Charlie Chaplin suits to cute '60s inspired dresses. NEW YORK...The Marc by Marc Jacobs collection took a nice turn away from it's signature '60s influence into an eighties new-wave vibe. There were plenty of bright, playful silhouettes and accessories to choose from, like cocoon shapes, berets, bows and neon bags. The entire collection was accented with a bit of neo-punk, giving this season a true Bananarama feel.
