Last night in Sydney…speeding through the darkened city in a taxi…we were heading for Chinatown in search of a late night bite…the driver was blasting Sydney Radio Nova 96.9…running red lights while the DJ banged Lady Gaga’s “LoveGame” and “My Delerium” by Ladyhawke. You’ve gotta love a city that thinks of Ladyhawke as a Top 40 radio artist. Brilliant city, brilliant music, brilliant people, brilliant atmosphere here. Earlier, we had seen a brilliant runway show from Ellery in an old Victorian-era warehouse on Amelia Street. Packed with the coolest and friendliest people you could ever meet.
