Hey it’s Eddie – over the weekend M.I.A. came and played a show in a huge old swimming pool in Brooklyn that they’ve drained the water out of and now bands play in the pool and like 5,000 people show up. No, I’m not kidding. Yes, New York is really cool. xo

I went to the M.I.A. show in SF, it was full of youngsters wearing their wackyiest T-shirts. NY is so much more laid back style wise. People are just more confidant.
