So let’s see if I’ve got this straight (no pun intended) – Katy Perry’s ex-boyfriend was gay which caused her to run off with her girlfriend who she wound up kissing even though Katy is not gay and actually it turns out her boyfriend wasn’t either he was just like a metrosexual or something…which all leaves me a bit confused – but hey, how about that Katy Perry? Wow, she sure is cute, huh?! Her track “I Kissed a Girl” is turning out to be the song of the summer – it’s sitting at No.2 right now at the iTunes store. She has great style too – she’s often rocking Betsey Johnson dresses, Mandate of Heaven playsuits and rompers, and lots and lots of vintage. Last night she played an invitation-only show at the Steve Madden store on the Lower East Side but it was so hot inside the store that we ended up mostly hanging outside. KP’s dress is vintage – she just bought it recently at a vintage store in the Hamptons. Her friend Mia’s shoes are Marc Jacobs from the 90′s.

She looks a lot like Zooey – for sure! Katy is actually pretty pale in person, which suits her retro.pin-up look. She had just been to the Hamptons however so maybe she got some time on the beach, in the sun.
