On a weekday – forget about the weekend – Soho is traditionally one of the most stylish neighborhoods in New York. Now though, just in the past week or so, it’s gotten even cuter…younger…trendier. I’m calling this the “Topshop Effect”. The recent opening of the Topshop at Broadway and Broome is bringing out cool kids from all corners of the city – I hope this continues. Yes – it’s funny – I’ve mentioned this to some other people the last couple of days and they said they’ve noticed it too! I thought it was my imagination. It reminds me of being in Williamsburg on a summer day when there is/was a concert at McCarren Park Pool. Like even if you are not really that near the pool you sense that something special is going on – you see more cute kids, more people on the street, something just feels different. Well, all of a sudden Soho just feels different. It’s very exciting. I love New York and I love Topshop! xo
