Milan: Frida Giannini conjured a quintessential Mediterranean summer for S/S 13 with a rush of saturated tropical hues and cabana-worthy scarf prints. Sharp silhouettes, paired with the label’s classic snaffle bit loafer, were distinctly Italian; lean jackets and slim, cropped pants had a retro-Continental feel to them. Crisp, all-white ensembles were certainly designed with glamorous yacht getaways in mind, and a series of black-on-black looks lent things a bit of Gucci edge, especially when layered beneath a slick patent jacket. —Anna Jane Davis
