“Awkward, amusing, touching, weird and surprising, this first issue is made up of twenty-one stories, which have been left as submitted and true to their tone,” reveals Bowman and Tieghi via their Facebook page.
These intimate and candid tales have been submitted by the general public and carefully illustrated by Bowman, making up a print-only magazine published by Dalston-based Ditto Press.
The journal will launch on the evening of February 14th (Valentine’s Day, no less) at the 18 Hewett Street gallery space. A confessions booth will be on site throughout the evening, collecting more personal anecdotes for Issue 2 of the journal, as well as steamy story readings and music courtesy of independent label Kaya Kaya Records.
