Master of digital-manipulation and collage, Ruud Van Empel has created yet another eerie wonderland through his latest exhibit “Sunday” on view at Stux Gallery. The Dutch photographer takes his previous subjects of uninhibited children in wild foliage to prim proprietors in continental gardens. The children don stripes their Sunday’s best and pose awkwardly in their stiff outfits comprised of bow-ties, collared dresses, Mary Janes, and mini-me suits.
