Greetings from Florence! The Children’s Team has kicked off our S/S 13 Trade Show coverage with Pitti Bimbo. Looking ahead, we’re seeing a ton of candy colors mixed with pops of neon. Seaside shades of coral and turquoise are everywhere with bold touches of key lime green. A sense of nostalgia is in the air, with a ton of vintage-inspired Hawaiian prints, patterns of antique items and classic silhouettes making an appearance. Spring looks got feminine with eyelet, lace, crochet, rosette details and embroidery. Camo returned with a creative twist, while prints and patterns were heavily influenced by a nautical theme, travel (think exotic city scapes) and fruits. Our hot items list includes: sleeveless collar dresses; silk pants; shirts that tie at the waist; drop-waist dresses; and woven popover tops.
