These recent lingerie (and swim) editorials may trigger the usual fashion tropes: borrowed from the boys, boy meets girl, masculin féminin. It is 12/12/12; aren’t we well past the era of heteronormativity? We just think these are stylish and sexy. Strong and sporty, yes, but also soft and romantic. Who says we can’t have it all?
