Tsubo is known for their dedication to creating comfortable, fashion-forward footwear. Their Spring S/S 12 collection brings forth their design philosophy and dual-density PU footbeds in an array of revisited classics with a modern twist.
The Prospero, a slip-on crepe sole loafer, stands out with subtle yet rich details such as welted stitching and a waxy suede upper. Open-lacing and decorative stitching make the Hesperia a modern, every day shoe with a pebble leather upper on a heavy crepe sole - one of the key elements of the collection. The Kreiken and Wexler II stay true to traditional craftsmanship with hand burnished leather uppers, giving a polished look to the casual dress items. Both are an accurate take on the “return of the gentleman”, the collection’s theme, with traditional brogue and blucher uppers layered with a spat-like strap around the counter and instep. Urban sophistication at its highest. -Jenn Tello
