We brought you a great video just over a week ago, exploring the work and studio of Mohsin Sajid, founder of Endrime, an emerging British denim brand. While spending time with Mohsin, we thought it would be cool to make a video all about his machines. This guy has a LOT; he’s one of the biggest collectors in the UK (if not the biggest) and owns the following:
Union Special 43200G, Union Special 39200AE, Union Special 56900R, Union Special 30100, Union Special 35800DN, Singer 47W70, Singer 114W103, Singer 15-01, Singer 114W103, Juki DDL-5600N, Reece 101 and a Button Press.
This means that he can prototype any style himself in his studio before sending to the factory with meticulously detailed guidelines on manufacturing processes. As you have probably seen in our earlier video, every jean includes screen prints of the exact machines used to produce the garment as well as the fabric used and the mill it came from. All this geeky information makes the jean that much more fun to own!
