Respected fashion journalist, fearless trendsetter and muse to many, Anna Piaggi died yesterday at the age of 81. A longtime contributor to Vogue Italia, Piaggi also penned articles for Vanity, Panorama and Arianna, and counted the discovery of a fledgling Missoni and starring in a 2006 exhibition at London’s Victoria & Albert Museum among her long list of accomplishments. She will likely be most remembered for her iconic personal style, though; Piaggi’s thoughtfully eccentric ensembles inspired some of the industry’s biggest influencers, including Karl Lagerfeld and Manolo Blahnik.

So sad to hear this, but find comfort in the knowledge that her legacy continues in the form of young style bloggers like Tavi Gevinson.
I like your blog. You put a nice twist to it. I like this one Whitney.
