To celebrate their Russian-inspired Fall/Winter 2012 collection, Salvatore Ferragamo released an exclusive video featuring Russian pop band Tesla Boy and a host of Muscovite style icons.

“From Russia With Love” shows Russian fashion favorites Miroslava Duma, Elena Perminova and Anya Ziourova pawing through the F/W 12 collection to prepare for a night on the town in New York City. Tesla Boy plays the background music, offering their catchy synthpop sound as the women get dressed at The Plaza Hotel and head out to meet their equally stylish friends, including Maryna Linchuk, Hilary Rhoda, Anna Dello Russo, Lily Kwong and more.
The star-studded video promotes Ferragamo’s Trunk Show website, where you can shop the season’s looks, watch runway video, and style the collection on a virtual mannequin. Ferragamo not only taps into the romantic, and sometimes elusive, beauty of Russia, it also follows the trend of luxury houses turning to video promos and interactive websites to show their collections to a wider audience. Consider the Iron Curtain of luxury fashion lifted. -Sarah Moore
