This year, Claridge’s called upon Lanvin’s Alber Elbaz to conceptualize the hotel’s annual Christmas tree. The creative director produced a merry environment, surrounding his tree with marionettes dressed in Lanvin-designed Claridge’s hotel uniforms. Doll accompaniments aside though, Elbaz’s creation is pretty classic, especially when compared to Galliano’s tree in 2009. The scene will stay on display in the Claridge’s lobby until January 2nd.
