H&M Re-opens Renovated NYC Store

H&M Store Lexington

Hennes & Mauritz, better known as H&M, celebrated the grand re-opening of its Lexington Ave. & 59th Street store this past Thursday, August 9th. After seven months of renovations, the fast-fashion retailer debuted a brand new, modern interior for its Midtown East location, which first opened in 2004. With approximately 26,500 square feet of space, shoppers were the first to experience a new open-concept store layout, an expanded Men’s section, and “shop in shop” lingerie and accessories departments. The first 250 customers on Thursday were also treated to Access to Fashion gift passes valued from $10-$300 and other giveaways by the retailer. An H&M ice cream truck even popped up outside the store for two days to celebrate, providing ice cream to customers with a valid receipt.
