Last week Stylesight swung by the New York City edition of Capsule to check out the coolest looks from emerging brands. Active-inspired styles have trended up at past iterations of the show, and this one was no different. At the show, a distinct retro “snow bum” looked emerged for accessories trends, with top new guys like Owner Operator showing pompom beanies and 80s-style lift operator caps. Colorado’s Topo Design, one of the originators of this retro mountain man resurgence, continued to show excellent packs and bags stocked with practical details and straightforward styling, while eyewear makers like Shwood and Raen also hopped on the retro train, offering wood paneled wayfarers and other updates.
